Membership Cap for 2011

At this time, we are at our membership cap for 2011. We will accept new applications in December for the 2012 year. Please check our website for any future updates. We thank you for your continued interest in CVSC.

A Buddy System to Help Shooters

Some members could use help at the range in the afternoon. They can't walk back and forth quickly to staple targets, so if you could lend a hand some time, please email:

Youth marksmanship team

The C.V.S.C. Shooting Stars Youth Shooting Teams are in full swing. Tuesday evenings at the range are full of learning and fun. We have 24 young people this year participating in all levels of marksmanship training and competition. From the newest members to the seasoned veterans of the team, everyone is working hard to improve their skills as they progress to the next stage of marksmanship. Thanks to our dedicated coaches and helpers, the kids are having a great time as they move up in the ranks of marksmen and women.

Changing Club Meeting Days

Hi everybody,

We're going to try something new for the rest of the year and see how it goes. We'll be changing our meeting times to be the third Wednesdays of each month from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Police Department Meeting Room. This change is in response to many people who had alternate work schedules who wanted an evening meeting time. See you June 15th.

Range Orientation

Every member of our club is required to go through the range orientation. Once is all you need but you need to go through the orientation before you can get your key. If you were a member of our club in 2010, you already went through our range orientation. If you are a new member or are a returning/renewing member whose previous membership was prior to 2010, you will need to get the range orientation before your application is complete. If you have questions on this, you can contact any officer. whose contact information is listed on the menu on the left side of this page. Thanks.
